Critical Limb Ischemia (CLI)

is an advanced form of Peripheral Arterial Disease where severe arterial blockages cause significant reduction in blood flow to the legs and feet. If left untreated, (CLI) can lead to chronic pain at rest, and non-healing wounds, requiring reconstruction of the pedal arch and infrapopliteal vasculature. It is essential to identify symptoms early and seek treatment to slow disease progression and the occurrence of limb loss.

  • Diabetes

  • Smoking

  • High Cholesterol

Symptoms

  • Pain, cramping, heaviness in the legs during physical activity which may subside at rest.

  • Leg weakness or numbness

  • Coldness in the lower leg or foot

  • Sores or Wounds

  • Skin Discoloration
